Finally nice enough up here in Mn to get a thing or two done on the Valk...

Yes, I admit it, I am a center stand guy.... It went pretty well.... I would be better at it the second time, but all in all went fine. I look forward to a center stand for my wants on the Valk.....

I'm really looking forward to my center stand.

I did purchase a corbin seat.. I'm going to give that a try, but before I put it on, I  need to get pics, like russel day long wants.... I will send my stock seat off and have a russel day long,  if the corbin doesn't work for me....

The centre stand only lifts my back tire off the ground by @1/4".  Not much I know, but I mainly use it for washing the bike, doing work on the bike and when I store it.  If you need it higher for some reason then put some plywood down.
If you need to change the rear tire it has to be lifted a lot higher than that.  You need a motorcycle lift to raise it up high enough.

This is my center stand with a 1/2 inch extension welded to the legs. It brings the bike almost 1 inch off the ground. It's hard to lift sometimes, but I can manage. [img][/img]

Honestly I don't know, dealer had them in his warehouse from an older bike, so I offered $40.00 for them. They are solid and bolted to the Honda racks .The dimensions are 17x12x6.

Grin Love mine.  Well worth the time, money and labor. Why they don't come with one on a bike this heavy is criminal

Frank,

She rides her own bike, so she is rarely on the back of mine.   Wink

Wink Mine is so easy to put on the stock stand, I can do it sitting on the bike.  Never owned a bike I could do that before.  Makes it level and takes up less room in the garage on the center stand
