Me and Big Mike will be at Spring Lake Speedway at 9:30 ish, Maybe do a local ride for Breakfast? Lunch? Whatever. Met Mike this morning and went to leave, dead battery. Mike went home and got his bike trailer and picked me up.

We were pretty close to Wesley Chapel Honda so I had him trailer me there and get a battery. $100 bucks and a few min later I was on my way to hook up with Jerry, Jack, Mike at the Spring Lake Speedway.

Hung out shooting the shizit for awhile then headed for home. I got half way home and got hit with 40mph winds and heavy rain, crazy2 Guess I should have just stayed home, but I am happy the battery went now that it was close to home.

Well there is always tomorrow, it was Great to see Mike out and riding after having a New Ticker put in December, that's amazing !!

Glad to hear that Mike is back on 2 wheels again, with his new ticker. I would have enjoyed riding with you all, and meeting Mike, but I just got a tractor of my own at work. (at least for a while) I have to work 5 days a week until they take this one away from me, and my newly powder-coated Valk rims were ready in New Port Richey. Since I very seldom get done before noon, and it is usually after 3:00, I decided that I better pick them up Saturday AM, while I had the chance. I also got my Yokohama Envigor tire ordered, so maybe next Saturday afternoon, I can get it mounted. Slowly but surely, I am getting the Valk ready for it's new incarnation. Gotta get a new sneaker for the front rim, and bearings and valve stems for both, and both tires mounted, and I will be taking her down to Grumpy to be dis-assembled for Painting and the rest of the Modifications. With any luck, this will be a done deal before the end of April. Still thinking about the paint design, and what handlebars I want. Mini-apes of some style, which will mean all new cables and braided stainless lines for the front brake and clutch.

Thanks for the flowers, Nick. I am thinking it will be different than any Valk I have ever seen, and I hope people consider it "purdy."

I'm sure it will happen, still want to finish up my Girl first. Going to lay her up when I get back from NC and get into that fairing with New Lights, Stereo, painting the inside cowl of the fairing, and getting all the drive line parts I bought put in.

Then I will start to look for a steal of a deal  Wink and take my time Hot Rodding her out.

Took a ride down to Quaker State & Lube. Forgot that the Biker Build off was this weekend, so we went down early to poke around. The tent looked like it had the same bikes from last year? Nothing interesting, just a bunch of Ghetto Baggers with Ferris Wheels and Huge Speakers.

Picked up a cool German Style Skull Cap, don't ask me why...I Know Nothing !!

My buddy was hot on a New Trike that is made locally in Clearwater, pretty cool if I may say so myself. They took over the old Fletchers HD and have a huge facility there and make this thing from scratch.

It is powered by a VW engine  with about 140hp to the wheels and it is a 4 speed. Automatic will be coming soon. U can actually go to their warehouse and test drive them, or catch them at the track in Daytona this year. My buddy and I are going to go down and check them out for a ride soon. Maybe Don would be interested as well?  Roll Eyes

Prices are very reasonable for what u get, they start out at 23K and go up from there. Lots of Powder Coating, and Chrome, any colors from House Of Colors that U want. Lot's of custom adjustments can be done to them on ordering, so not a cookie cutter trike, pretty much get what u want.

He started one for us and it sounded real Bad Ass, like I said, everything can be changed like exhaust and pedal locations, colors etc. Of course I didn't take any pictures, left the phone in the bike crazy2 Here is their FB Page, Check it out  https://www.facebook.com/conquesttrikes/
