Looks like a nice trip. The scenic train from Dillsboro, NC to Bryson City, NC is also nice. A few nice places to eat around town. It's not too far from Northern GA.

Yes, we've also done that train ride.....we got a package deal where we stayed in the Old Hotel there in Dillsboro for one night with a full breakfast and dinner being part of it....it was fun too......

I would love to take a long train ride/vacation up North through the New England states sometime....during their Fall color season.....

I drove the Kia yesterday to get there, but I took the "motorcycle roads" to get there.....Hwy 60 through Suches/Blood Mountain.....since there was rain up there yesteday morning, I saw only ONE bike all the way up there....saw not a single bike at TWO or the gas station there at Wolf Pen Gap.....

Poor Abby almost got sick because I was taking a lot of the curves at 50 miles an hour....I love that Electronic Stability Control in the SUV!!!..... cooldude

you were riding on the train with us yesterday....heard a voice and accent just like yours behind me on the opposite side of the car....buggers were on "Holiday" from across the Pond.....

There was also a Dutch Family riding in our car that reminded me of Marian's Clan.....

I also passed a Couple on a Valk Tourer....black??.....riding down the street in Blue Ridge....
