I have a significant fuel leak that looks to be coming from the #3 carb. I'm looking for someone that can go through all six and replace all gaskets and o-rings and check all vital parts. If possible I would like to be involved in the process to learn. Any takers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm east of Houston right of I-10 exit 800 to give you a general idea of my location.

Disco has a quick clean method he has used and I have used to good effect.

You need to get a bottle of Yamalube Carb Cleaner first.  Close the petcock.  Open your drains on the carb bowls to drain out the gas. Then disconnect your fuel line from the petcock and put a funnel into the end of the line, filling the carbs with Yamalube (don't twist the throttle).  Let it sit over night, then drain out the carbs, reconnect the gas and turn the petcock back on.  This cleared up a problem I had with stumbling.

Don't leave the carb cleaner in more than overnight.  Don't let it get on your painted surfaces because it's even better at cleaning off paint than it is cleaning carbs.

If this fails, then you can tear them apart.

If leaking btwn carbs, try to tighten both end nuts of the rods going through each carb bank. sometimes they get loose. should only take 1/8 to 1/4 turn.

Ok it's still leaking with the added head pressure from a full tank of gas. Before I tested it with a funnel when it appeared not to be leaking. So back to the drawing board. If there's any takers.

I hope it's not the Jet bike leaking.  Those carbs were just out a few months ago.

If you've got the carbs out, that's really the hard part.  Six carbs intimidated me too, but taken one at a time, they're not such a big deal.

The manual actually has pretty good instructions on carb disassembly and overhaul, plus there are a ton of YouTube videos that are helpful.  If you need a copy of the manual, you can download one here http://valkyrienorway.com/download.html

Wish I were closer so I could provide some help.

No it's not the Jet bike. It's the interstate. Mr bubbles and I are going to give it a try before I send them off to Big BF.

Mr Bubbles should be able to get the jets and needles back in the right spots.  My bike was leaking in January and last month my  2002 Honda 4 wheeler had the same problem.  Its the crap gas.

Do not separate the carbs if you do not need to.

It was the o-ring gaskets between the carbs that was bad so I had to separate all of them. Just got finished putting it all back together and it runs great with no leaks.
