Been a crazy weather month so far...from freezing temps to temps in the 90's (˚F), then Red Flag fire warnings to serious thunder storms with tornadoes.  But there's been some great riding days, too.

Saturday was a great looking day for riding Charlie, I did not.

If you are riding  and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

Hey Eli, I did ride Saturday, but came upon this scene on RR 962 just past Old Geezer's Curve (Hammett's Crossing).

One of the sheriffs told me a motorcycle rider had missed a curve and ended up breaking their leg.  They were going to be fine -- which was good news -- but, it did put a hamper on the rest of my ride.  (Yep, I'm selfish about my ride time...!)

 Wink

The thing is, I think I know the curve where they went off.  It's just after a speed limit reduction from 60 mph to 45 mph and it comes up fast.  The pitch of the road falls away making the curve seem worse than it is.  I've been surprised by it more than once, but fortunate enough to have kept my line and my head on track.
