I am looking for a “foot” to go on my kick stand to give a bigger ground contact and decrease the lean angle “just a smidget”.  I recently changed rear tires and now the lean angle is just a little more than it was and I want it back the way it was.  Sad (I don’t want to change tires again just for that.) It’s not bad, I just liked it better before.
I’m not real big on change.  coolsmiley

Hey Budman , I had the same problem with my Valk and I was looking for that foot that slides onto your kickstand foot from Rivco and it has been discontinued , why I don't know ..... but I had read on the forum that one of the guys used that Rivco foot for a VTX on his valk and it worked .... he said he had to do some grinding on his Valk kick stand foot to make it fit , and it works he said ..... but you know what since I went darkside I don't have that much of a lean anymore ...    Thanks Old Geezer Richard    uglystupid2 laugh

Budman,  I have an extra side stand that we can grind on and the grinder if you want to try it.  Bring the wife and come on down when you get the part in...JTL

I did use the Rivco for the VTX and works great. Amazing how much a little extra lift makes getting the Valk. off side stand a lot easier. I used a Demel to grind a little off to make fit. You do need to paint silver to stop rust. Wink

Outstanding!
I knew you guys would have the solution.  My only concern was making a change to the stand and then wanting to go back to not using it. Once again Pharmboy comes through with the solution to that problemeven before I said it!
Thank you all so much!  cooldude

Ordered mine today. Was looking for one and ended up drilling 2 holes and bolting on (2) 1/4" pieces of alumunum bar stock 1 1/2" wide to the bottom side, works but not to pretty. Will like the chrome shiny pad better.

Mine is supposed to be “in the mail” now too!  Roll Eyes
I hope to get it installed before leaving for the Great Smokey Mts. on the 23rd.  We wanted to do the Fall Colors Ride but could not get our scheduled to cooperate. We’ll just be a week late.   crazy2
I’ll give you a holler as soon as the part comes in, Pharmboy.  Looks like the weather will make for a good ride this weekend.  cooldude

Sounds good, Budman!  This shouldn't take very long for the fit and install...JTL

Huummm, I keep a chunk of 1X4 in the saddlebag and throw it down if I have to park on new blacktop.. If somebody steals it, I don't care, but then, why would anyone want to steal it..

Yeah, I've done that a lot growing up in Mississippi where our tar melts regularly in the summer.  I just want something I can't drive off and forget.

Yeah, I've done that a lot growing up in Mississippi where our tar melts regularly in the summer.  I just want something I can't drive off and forget.

I have a big switch box cover, about 4' of cord, plate on one end, loop on the other.   Loop goes on my clutch master cylinder when I drop the plate on the ground.   I also have the Rivco foot, haven't rode off without either one in several years......

Between the plate and the Rivco foot, MGM has not even come close to faling over.   Plate has sunk in a few times where it was almost impossible to pull up.
