My battery gave up this week.  It's a 2014 put into service in 2015, August.  No warranty after a year is what I was told. Is that correct? I ordered an AGM off ebay for $55 to the door. Just curious about what you guy's are finding ???

Mine is still good. I had it on the tender all winter. Usually the yuasa battery is good for five years before you need a new one. Have you drained it completely in the past?

Yep.

My Valk goes on the Battery Tender (HF knockoff) when it's not running, period!

I got 7yrs life from my last Yuasa.  IMO battery tenders work, and take all of two seconds to connect if you have a connection installed...

I let go for 51 days and it must of been to long.  I now have a pig tail on it to keep it on a tender. Guess it's my bad!

I got my bike Oct. 2014 should be no problem for at least 2 more years. My brother just replaced his on his Harley, 4 years old but didn't want to take any chances,  since we have a trip planned mid summer this year.

If I'm longer than two weeks between riding for any reason, I put it on a tender. Picked the bike up 18 months ago. I didn't put it on the tender once when going longer than two weeks, and the battery went flat. Put it on the tender, and rode a few days later. No problems since. I tend to ride every other weekend.

I've never had to replace a battery except on my last bike, where I replaced it simply out of preference and preventative maintenance after 6 years.  I never use Battery Tenders.

60 days seems to be the death of these batteries without a charge. Put my new one in today with a tail on it for the tender!! Lesson learned

I know a Dealer that puts on the pigtail for a battery tender on every new motorcycle they sell.

He mentioned he use to sell so many batteries due to batteries going bad, and ever since more people used tenders, due to his advice, battery sales dropped hugely.  I call that a great dealer....

Anyway, this is up north, so, our bikes sit for lengths of time, verses places where they don't...

I purchased mine May of 2014, 35k miles, still on the original battery, This year is the first time I had to use the tender because of recovering from surgery, was off the bike a little over 3 months. It fired up as soon as I hit the starter button.
