That might wake a few cage drivers up  Evil

I actually have two sets to choose from at the workshop now so don't really need to get another ..... but if I didn't I might almost be tempted to one one down each side along the carbs  uglystupid2

Would be interested in seeing how you'd attach 17" truck air horns to a bike without it looking silly or getting in the way Smiley. Knowing you it will get figured out. Have fun. They are certainly loud.

My horn on Deerslayer is the same horn they put on fire trucks, per my friend who is a Lt. on the fire dept. The horn is a 24" Grover, diaphram horn - chromed brass - self-clearing and much louder than reed horns. It's fed by a Hadley piston air compressor system with 1/2 gal of 130# pressurized air in a tank waiting to be released - significantly louder than any horn that uses a vane pump and makes the air on the fly.  My bike with horn  - this picture - was featured in Motorcycle Cruiser magazine Feb 2003. I posted this tech article over a dozen years ago and a number of riders have duplicated the install.

Looks good MarkT. @Leathel...so there you go. That's what I love about this this forum (beside the great people). If you can dream it, it's been done. Wink

The std car air horns I have are higher pitched and loud and is likely what I will fit... I have a stebel copy here too but a pair of those truck horns are tempting Tongue

I measured the fit when I first saw them and they would fit well like MarkT has them.... probably look better than 2 chrome car air horns, Will think on it some more  Roll Eyes
