I bought a set of Valkyrie bags for my 01 cruiser on this site. Bags are like new! What I need to know is what do I need to mount them in the way of hardware? Have no idea. Jim

Sorry I missed your post. I ended up buying new ones ($109) out of our local dealer. Even though it came with bolts, I cant seem to get it to fit. I am sure the hardware goes on the backside of the bag. The bolts go through the hole in the bag, then through the spacer, the chrome, then the fender. I THINK! The bolts dont reach. The front of the bag is impeded by the shock. I would think there would be a washer for the bolt head on the inside of the bag. Frustrating. I have no idea how they go on. I think I may be missing something but dont know what.

Thank you very much! They sent me the wrong brackets, so I took them back. They wanted to charge me a 20% handling fee!
So now my question is, do you still have the brackets and bolts for the 'Valkyrie' saddle bag? If so, I would be interested in purchasing them.
Thanks,
Jim
