Got in some much needed miles today, rode out to Brenham, aka bluebonnet heaven. Still plenty visible, not the early version. 370 miles roundtrip, relaxing to say the least.

Taken on Tigerpoint road, just off FM389

Winedale historical district

Independence, Tx. Wife and Mother-in-Law of Gen. Sam Houston are buried here across the First Baptist Church in Independence. The Houstons and their family along with slaves attended this church, slaves built it. I do believe the first building burned down. Hwy50 and FM390

If you are riding  and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.
