After the tech laid my bike down on my old seat with the engine running and the pipes hot, I got back a piece of melted foam, and a new seat (on him). Looks really good and is REALLY HARD! Guess the only way to break it in is to get some seat time. OK, so leaving for the River City Bike Fest tomorrow afternoon in San Antonio and will ride the hill country all day Sunday. Just trying to break in the new seat! I'll think bout you guys when I'm eating BBQ at Coopers on Sunday.

They give ya a stock seat or an aftermarket one? You mention it is HARD......... So I kind of ruled out the stock. SO, what brand of after market seat?

doc, I have my old Corbin 4 peice seat I removed when I put on the Ultimate. If you need it, let me know. It is worn some, but does not have any rips in it. If you or anybody in the club needs it, it is theirs for the shipping cost only. What 'insert button" do you use to add a pic to a message??

The new seat is supposed to have come from Honda. Looks just like the old one. Just harder. Hey KCF, what do you think it would cost in shipping for those old seats. Might really be interested. Thanks. Larry

I put them in the box that the Ultimate seat came in and it has 16 lbs on it, they did not have the shipping cost on the label. Would have to go on UPS site and figure it. I will do that and post it here tomorrow. Give me a destination (city - state) to check with. I am in Tyler, Texas. You close enough to pick them up???

OK, I ckecked with UPS and you could come to Tyler yourself cheaper !! $34 USPS is the cheapest, bout $8 - $10 , but I am at work right now and just guessed at the box dimentions. (Ya got to have them for their quotes.) OK, got dimentions and USPS was from a tad over $11 to tad over $12. 23W X 20L X 13H 18-19lbs.

I got a couple of questions. How do you like the new seat? I'm 6' tall and looking to upgrade my saddle and have been considering the Ultimate. Also your bags, who makes them? thanks

I am 6'2" and like it a lot. It does sit you up and back about one inch from stock so my legs are not as bent. I also put on the Kuryakyn pegs that a lot of the guys are using and that helps even more. Sandys the main reason we got the seat. After we got home from the run from Dallas Honda to the dam on Texoma, then back home, for the Valhalla Voyage 2008 handoff to Okiehoma, she was talking a gel pad. After looking at those, I voted for the Ultimate seat. Been a few miles now on this seat and both of us like it with no complaints. Bags are Leatherlyke, like them lots too. The remove with two pins on the inside of the bag for work or cleaning on bike.
