Obtain Hondas harness and modify it. Probably the best you'll find.

Well I think you are talking about the IS here? There is no brake light on the rear fender.

Now there is lots of posts, people either making their own wires, using trailer wiring for the connector, or using the A + B for a std/tourer bike on an IS.

I'm going the sub wire harness A + B from a std/tourer, so I have factory stock wiring.

A search on interstate brake light, should find all you need.

yes it is the interstate, it has the brake light mounted on fender with the turn signals on the license plate mount, and has the brake lights on the trunk as well,  it has had the super valk conversion so i can take off the rear trunk.

Then does it not already work?

The trunk gets plugged into a 3 pin connector if I remember correctly.

Then there is a 5 pin connector on the main wire harness, which you plug in sub harness A or B into. All bikes have the 2 sub harnesses, it's just the IS is different without the brake light, than the std/tourers.

If your lights in the trunk aren't working, then most likely you only need to plug them back in.

I've got the super valk mod and when I mounted the fender light it just plugged into a connector that is mounted under the fender. Works as a brake light and tail light. Trunk lights plug into connecter  under right side cover.

ohhhh ok so it might plug in, hmm i only had the trunk off once, i will look today at the plugs, see if i can make it work, i just thought i read here that someone had made a adapter plug or harness that would make them both work at the same time.  I recently had a buddy get rear ended on his bike, the H brand and the guy said he did see the brake lights, so i just want to be seen, i am also thinking more light cant hurt might even put a LED strip on the trunk bracket.
