Put a new Avon on the front of the Interstate yesterday.  Put it on the home made JeffK balancer and kept hearing this noise like an acorn inside the tire when it was rotated.  Decide well that just won't do.  Broke it back down and one of my plastic rim protectors was inside.  I guess I should do like the Nurses and count sponges and instruments before closing. Cheesy

At least you found out before a road test.. still using weights ? I went balance beads and am sold on the ride, however at times I think I hear them in the front Metzler. Glad to hear you are still wearing out tires tho Terry !    cooldude

Mike this one was half worn out and half aged out. Had to go though.  Hope to get out soon on a trip out West so needed to feel good about it.  It will ride in the back of the toyhauler most of the time but it will be the "touring" wheels.
