I love the idea, but as shown I think they would over power the rear of the valk.
Personally I think they would be best if french mounted (recessed) into the saddle bags.

No.

And I have to do a short, precise three-point backup move to get out of my shed.  Sooner or later, one would probably be smashed up with some of it sticking in my pressure treat fence.

They do sort of go with the retro look valk. And more lens/light to the side is always a good thing.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'd be walking into them often.  I'd also have to machine special adaptors to mount them...might try it though as I'm into the whole retro thing Cheesy  JimC, do you mean visually or literally overpower?

Visual proportions, if they are frenched in less of the fixture is exposed eliminating some of the bulk.
Do a search on frenched tail lights and you will see what I am trying to say.

Those do look cool, those Frenchies I tell you. I wish there were some Cadillac style lenses that weren't quite as long because the ones I saw on fleabay were about 5 1/4 inches long which is way out there.

They look good, but will these fit our Valkyries.

Well I went ahead and bought (then shortened slightly) and mounted some amber Cadillac turn signal lenses front and rear on my girl.   I like how they turned out, what do you think?
