Fixed a leaky carb. Reassembled. Airbox attached. Fuel tank is not attached yet. Have fuel going through the fuel line from a container. There is fuel in the carbs as it will drain out. The spark plugs are sparking. Engine turns over but wont light. Any answers would be helpful. TY Bob

Well, you need gravity feed. Is the container suspended above the bike? Kill switch off? Try choke? Air filter in and top 'on' the air box? If you have a factory petcock you probably have an open vacuum leak at number 6 unless you plugged it. Don't think that would prevent a start though. Did you check for spark at 'all' wires? Maybe you knocked a coil connector loose. I really can't think of anything else.

Takes a "FULL" battery to start these things. If you jump off your 4 wheel vehicle make sure of polarity and that the jumping vehicles engine is OFF. My whiz bang battery charger lets me know charge state of battery being charged as a percentage. Just the clock on an I/S will bring it down after a few weeks of not being run. RIDE SAFE.

If the battery is full charge a little shot of engine starter to the the air breather intake might answer a few questions. Be careful and make sure the air box lid is attached.

Did you do anything with the center panel where the seat lock is ? If so, you might have moved the tip over switch.

Are you sure you have the choke pushed to full on.

Thanks all for your input. Had a large kink in the fuel line under the tank. Unbent it and fired right up.

Help also,
My bike fell over this am. All the over on it's left side. Now, push start button and it sounds as if something is locked up.
I can shift trans. I have put it in neutral, got it rolling down a hill, shift to second and pop the clutch and the back wheel just skids. Any ideas welcome.

Remove the plug and do the same thing again outside. Either roll it, or try to start it.

Knowing that it will squirt something out of the plug holes. Pay attention to which one.

Gas? Put the plugs back in, and try to start again.

Oil? Maybe spin it a little more, before putting the plugs back in. Then try to restart.

If it happens again pull the plugs first and turn it over before trying to start it....you van bend rods or break starter gears.... Hope you are all sweet with the plugs out.
