Tomorrow is going to be a beautiful day for a ride. The CT guys have been posting pictures from the Saville Dam And Barkhamstead Resevoir for years. It looks like a beautiful spot and I'm finally going to see it tomorrow.  I should be arriving between 11 and 11:30. I'd be happy to meet riders there to shoot the bull and a lunch ride afterwards.  My cell is 508-380 Nine Nine Five Six.

Thanks Ed for meeting me at the dam and the nice ride afterwards.  The Farmington River Diner in Otis, MA was a good choice for lunch.  Route 23 from Otis to Westfield was in good shape and there are a couple of gas stations less than five miles in from route 8.  I gassed up and was good to go.

In Westfield I picked up 20 east and took that most of the way home.  It was a slow slog until I got to Palmer, MA.  As I was in traffic in Springfield, I noticed a temperature sign that read 91. Yikes. Too hot for April. I got home about 4:30.

A good day!

Yeah, my breakfast quesadilla was huge with scrambled eggs, sausage, onions, mushroom and cheese. Combined that with the salsa and the Tabasco sauce I dumped all over it, I was tooting on the way home.   Wink

91*, must have been nice riding weather with no humidity.  We had 74* in the shade
at 3:30 yesterday afternoon, with a full sunny sky.  I'd take 12 months of yesterdays weather !!

23 is one of my favorite rides. I live in Southwick, Mass. I have a green and gray 99 Interstate. Bought it in Worcester last SEPTEMBER.

Southwick, where Massachusetts "invades" Connecticut.  Lots of great roads on both sides of the border.
