Now I know.  I was planning on visiting the UP for the Fall color this last week, Runny nose, coughing, congestion, headache ,and no ambition stopped all that. Still have the cold.

I revised my plans to visit the lower peninsula this week for the color, that's gone too (but the cold isn't)

I was planning on trying out the Nighthawk after installing new handlebar risers, that's stopped too.  Couldn't figure out a way to blow my runny nose with a full face helmet on.

Now I'm planning on going down to southern Indiana for the color next week, I hope by then my cold is gone.

OK, I'm done complaining . I'm still on the right side of the grass Smiley.

Did you notice that I included riding in this bitching ( Not as in  cooldude) thread?   Smiley

Sorry, Black Dog. I took allergy shots for over twenty years and I'm not allergic to grass anymore, cats, yes, grass, no.

I can sure imagine what it was like to have a bad cold and be riding on the back of a motorcycle with the weather that we had at St. Iggy..  I'm glad you got through it ok.  The Doc was wrong though.  You aren't old, FlamingoBabe! cooldude

I've tried the chicken soup but not the orange juice although maybe a screwdriver would be good about now.  I feel better right now, maybe it'll go away for good this time.  Think good thoughts like a certain outdoor barbecue in hot Texas.  I've never made it but it's something to think about, especially with the weather that we're enjoying? here in Hoosierland right now.  Snow flurries forecasted for Friday.

Bad cold, wow mom.

Youngest daughter called last night, her and her 2 girls all have the H1S1 (pig flu) and I feel sorry for the 2 year old.

She is so active and now all she wants to do is lay on the floor and poop her diaper.

Mom had her almost potty trained before this.......   She doesn't want to move or be touched.

She said all 3 of them had temps over 102.  Da'ts a wee bit high in my book.

She also said they had been given the nose spray for the flu shot.   She said talk about smarting, I won't repeat her exact words and she no talk this way.......

Told them all, I'd pass on coming to visit for several days.

I think that I'll pass on the nose plugs Brian. Smiley.  They rotorooted my sinuses 20 years ago and my nose doesn't plug up any more, just runs.
I think that I have finally whipped it, so much that I'm planning on driving down to Brown county Sunday.  Weather forecast looks good. Take another look at your plans.  BTW, I'm not camping.  At my age I'm moteling it.  Might drive the Miata, know a lot of nice backroads there.  Call me if you're looking for some curvy routes to take. I might be able to suggest some.
