Good day for fly fishing. I thought of you when I saw men and women fly fishing in the Farmington River on Tuesday.   Wink

Working tomorrow morning but plan to get wet mid afternoon!

I've come to the conclusion that working is completely overrated and I should have been a ditch digger like my father always said I would be

Ditch-digging is way over rated holmie....
Having swung a pick axe and held on to a 90lb pavement
breaker for 28 years...busting through pavement, chipping my
way over-under-around and through ledge on days and nights when it's
20 below zero.....trying to maneuver your way around with mud filling your hip boots.
Some days the ditch I was digging in was so deep, I actually thought I was
feeling the Devil himself grabbing and tugging at my ankles !!!

Ditch-digging ain't as glorified as what some make it out to be, I promise you that !!!!
It's only for us dumbfvcks that don't know any better....  crazy2

Enjoy your day wading in the streams Chris, let work escape you for a few hours !!!

Chris, I have no idea what it's like dealing with the clients you have (let alone during tax season)....
I can not imagine the pressure dealing  with multi million dollar corporations.....

The clients I used to deal with were owners of 4 and 5 star hotels/motels/restaurants.....
Explaining to these people their water was being shut off in order for us to make a repair on a burst
water main....and not knowing when the water will be reconnected.  Some times these repairs took close to 24 hours or more....
For a 250 seat restaurant / 200 room motel to be without water ( and more than one of these properties included in the shut down ) is taxing on the owners, and scary on the messenger who delivers the message.  I never put my crew in the position to deal with the owners/managers, I took on the responsibility myself to deal head on with the public.

Ya know....playing with the Devil 8 to 10 ft underground ain't all that bad !!!   Evil

Enjoy your afternoon my friend..... Smiley
