After being retired for a year now all the projects are done and it felt time to do something. Being retired at 44 is great but all your friends are still working. I took 38 rides to the coast over this last year and countless rides to the mountains. I got a call from a man that ownes a ag water treament plant. He told me he heard from a man i know at church i was looking for something to do and wanted to talk to me about coming to work for him in a supervisior roll. We talked for awhile and i took the job. Company truck, big office ,four guys that work for me and start at 70k a year. I came home to tell my wife and all i got was " Good, it will be nice to get you out of the house. I need my space" Well so much for buying her that new car. I see a second valk being bought instead. Well you know.....have to have someing to ride back and forth to work. Roll Eyes

To each his own. I'm 47, and if i could've retired at 44, i'd be riding everyday. I've been home for over two months recovering from knee surgery, so I know what your wife means. I don't think its healthy to spend that much time together, plus I got to see how little she really does. If money wasn't an issue, i'd be spending lots of time with my kids, lot's of time in the man cave (garage) and lots of time riding.
