At the risk of getting laughed out of the forum - anyone happen to know where I could acquire an IS pod light set-up? I have a blue 2000 IS that has the pod lights, and a green 99 without. Problem is I plan to sell the 2000. But I like the pod light look. Guess I could do a pod swap, but then would have to repaint both sets of pods. Although maybe this would be cheaper than getting a pod light kit... or... hmmm... 2-tone green/blue IS...

anyone happen to know where I could acquire an IS pod light set-up?Not without a time machine. A guy could cut the pods out (where to cut is marked on the inside). A guy could chose a number of small fogs (or spots), and fab a way to mount them up in the OE location from the engine guards, aiming out the holes. The biggest problem is trying to find some rubber boots that seal both the pod holes and lights. Someone made some years ago. I don't know how. I have often thought that I might get some small bright led fogs or spots and mount them with 1 1/8" clamps, just outside the pods on the engine guards (they'll have to angle out a bit like mickey mouse ears). But depending on your Hwy peg location, you might kick them with your feet when on the Hwy pegs.

Probably easier to move the Fog lights + wiring to the other bike (and cut their pods to fit), then buy from ebay 'new' blue pod lights.

Pod lights are unobtainable , your best bet is to swap the whole set up and paint the four pods to match the bikes and it still much cheaper than buying a used pair if you lucky enough to find one

03-04 honda element fogs are supposed to be what you need and cutting the hole is maked On the pod i think the problem is the gasket which i think could be easily made And ill bet all thats a hole lot cheaper then painting Of course Youd need a on /off switch also .... im guessing you'd be in it less then 100 $

I think the Element lights are the same. But I think the mounts are different. I'm sure mounts could be fabbed up though. I not sure how you would go about making the rubber surround though.

I'm not willing to let mine go. But if you know of a way to make a mold, I'd be willing to help.

I'm pretty sure some here have used them as replacements. It's the mounts and the rubber trim that's scarce.

Stick - could you supply pictures to your contact and get an estimate? Might ask also if a donor pair would be returned un-molested, as I'm sure they would need a pair to make a mold from.

Would it really matter if the boots were rubber? Maybe a computer whiz and a 3d printer could take this on

They would need to be a little flexible to fit on the pods. Unless there would be a different way to hold them.
