Been enjoying getting back into the dirt with the KLR for my fly fishing outings but she was just too unrefined.
So today, I brought a new mistress home. Already have a solo 2 week Trans Labrador Highway trip planned for July.  Plan to tent and fish my way from Manic 5 to Goosebay and use the ferries to complete the loop.
Don't worry the fat bottom girl still has her crown and a permanent spot in my heart and garage.  Grin

At first glance I thought you had moved to Provo, Utah
where this marriage / arrangement was the norm !!!

Sure do sound like an enjoyable head clearing trip Rob... enjoy  Cool

Very nice.  I don't have enough legs for one of those but they are sweet!  Did you keep the KLR as well?

Nope...the KLR was part of my downpayment. It is in your neck of the woods though...over at Max BMW in South Windsor.  Wink  The BMW sits about the same height as the KLR but is considerably heavier. Sure is smooth and comfortable, the power is quite satisfying as well.

I bought the BMW because I have a 5 week trip to Alaska planned for next summer and I secured permission to take my Grandson along with me. He will be 12 at the time.

Had to play every card with the Mrs on this one...even used the ol "you want your grandson to be safe and comfortable on a trip of his lifetime, don't you".  angel
