I'd look for a short in the wires first. But first - is it stock, or has there been any mods to the circuit? Did this happen after you did some work on the bike? If so, look there first. Nothing there, put in a fresh fuse, in your garage, turn it on and start wiggling wires - especially where the bike has had any work lately. With the schematic in hand, wiggle the looms with the headlight wires in them. After that, then I'd look at the switches - hi-lo sw and the starter for something out of place. It's somewhere between the fuse and the ground of the headlight, as indicated by the schematic.

According to the schematic, the stock fuse should be 10a and not 15a...Did someone do any mod. on the headlight circuit? Its probably going to be something simple...!!!

The stock fuse is a 10amp, I was having the same issue every few months I would burn the fuse. I went to a 15 amp and have not had the issue since. Not saying that is the fix, but I was out of town riding and it worked, so I left it in.

Im pretty sure the fuse cover says 15a headlight
So im thinking the 15 is correct ...
Ive took out the headlamps and its holding so im assuming i had them half assed in
I will put them back in when im feeling a bit thinner in the fingers ....hopefully that will fix it ....

Looks like the I/S headlight fuse is 15amp, the STD/Tourer headlight fuse is 10amp.
