Jeff, you know the last thing to go through a lovebug's mind when he hits the windshield?

For those of you that haven't tried it. Dollar General brown container of Hydrogen Peroxide and a sprayer screwed on the top. JUST AS SOON AS YOU GET HOME spray all the carcasses with it and let it sit for a few minutes until all the bubbling quits but before it dries rinse most of them off. The other you will need to rub a little. It's the protein in the eggs that bubbles and eats your paint too. They were already out at home before we left.

Seen a few of them the last few days, nothing major as of yet. I notice that they have been less and less each year, seems like there here and gone real quick.

We took the boat out on the St John's river today, and ran into a swarm at the marina, and going home later. I agree with Nick though that they have been getting fewer, and for shorter periods in the last couple of years. And oh yeah Terry's trick with the peroxide works real well. And John, the answer to your question: his a$$.

Not that my paint is anything special, but that fizzing from the HP makes me nervous for anything under the bugs. Never had a problem on the bike or trucks though.
