1999 balk broke down this evening on my ride to D.C. with Run For The Wall. Am in Forrest City Arkansas headed east to Ceekeville TN. Am on a chase truck leaving FC about 5:30am and looking for ideas as to who can do a drive train repair. Could be clutch, tranny, or shaft area. Any ideas are welcome, but has to be between here and Nashville in order for it to work. Email me please at timmyba@gmail.com.

It is hopefully something easy, pinion cup and driveshaft
maybe.

The Honda shop in Murfreesboro got me back on the road
quickly and expertly once upon a time... they might have
a pinion cup (we use the same ones as 1500 Goldwings),
but it would be a stroke of luck if they had a Valkyrie driveshaft.

You could call them, and maybe get some kind of overnight
parts shipment going if they say they would try to help
you quickly. You'd be hosed, though, if you went there and
waited a day, or whatever, and it turned out to be some
other problem...
