Just came back from a 10 day vacation  in the Austrian Alps. You talk about  twisties . I think the only straight road was the Autobahn. Saw a lot of adventure - dual sport bikes: KLRS, V-stroms, and of course BMW. Also a lot of crotch-rockets, a couple of Harleys but not a single Valkyrie. I guess I didn't expect to see one anyway. Every biker had leathers/heavy riding gear. I missed my Valk!

I live in western NY(Hamburg) and have only seen one other Vakyrie on the street since May 2016. Never saw who was riding it. In a 100 mile radius i would guess Honda sold at least 10 of them. Perhaps I'll see one when we go to Laconia New Hampshire.

Up here I have seen about eight of them in the last 2 years.  I talked to 4 of them and told them about the VRCC.

Ledany, I always like the idea of switching up manufactures and other tags and identifiers on my vehicles.

That way, if there's an accident or other trouble, the witnesses will give conflicting statements to police.    Grin

It was a big red Honda that blew through here at high speed.

No it wasn't, it was a big red BMW.

I never thought about it ! Still, it doesn't work here in France, the only thing the cops care about is the license plate, and if you have a fake one, it's much more than a joke.
My BMW stickers were originally meant to say that I'm a convinced beemer and that BMW should built their bikes the way Honda does. But the more I drive the Valk and the less I feel a beemer  crazy2 which I've been for so long and happy  Evil.
I guess that the next bike will be a Honda, no matter the social status  angel
