I broke my mirror yesterday and in my pile  of documents for extras to my bike, I can't find any document of the mirrors I bought 11 yers ago.

I believe they are named Kuryakyn Magnum, can anyone confirm this?
I find online mirrors named Kuryakyb Magnum Plus , is that same mirror?
Anyone know the best buy ?

Relax, you have the Magnum Plus mirrors, same as the Magnum mirrors, but 2" longer arms.  And they come in flat or convex glass (convex is better; smaller image, but much wider view).

I have a whole bag of parts of magnum mirrors (pretty sure convex glass) and the metric adapters for them, and I may have both short and long arms, but maybe not the Plus arms.  I'll have to get down in my parts bin and look.

If I have what you need, I'll give it to you (except, I ran mine for several years and some parts are worn.  I could never get them to stay tight for long, and I damaged some threads wrenching them tight to stay in place, then used Teflon tape.  And then put them in a bag and went back to stock when they kept swinging loose anyway).

Let me know exactly what part(s) are broken, and I'll see if I can replace it/them.  If not, I'll try to find the best replacement price I can find (which is likely to be on Amazon).

When you open the links, click replacement parts at the top to see if you can get just what you need rather than another complete pair.  (Then record the part number and price it with anyone but Kuryakyn, they sell everything at MSRP and everyone else is lower, somewhat.)

Thanks!

Well, the whole mirror & arm is vanished now.
I also live in Norway which makes a difference in handling, but yes, a really nice offer!

It looks like Magnum Plus comes with two sizes of mirror ?  They mention "small" on one of the links.
What do  I have?  My gue is Large? If so, that would  be :

1412    Large Magnum Plus Mirrors with Flat Glass

Yes, I prefer flat glass

Ok, I just got out my parts bin.

I'm sure your mirrors are the large size magnum mirrors (flat glass).  (5.5" X 3.25", or so.  I suppose it's possible the size of these (large) mirrors has changed a bit over the last 10-15 years, but I doubt it)

Here's what I have.  Two large mirrors (convex glass) on short legs with metric adapters, and two large mirrors with flat glass.

I now remember that I had long arm, large mirror magnums (like yours) on a Kawasaki Mean Streak 1500.  I got flat glass mirrors and didn't like them, so got convex glass mirrors for the long arms.  I then sold the bike with the mirrors on there.  This is why I have two large flat glass mirrors (in nice shape) left over.  The convex glass large mirrors, with short arms, and metric adapters I put on my Valkyrie, for awhile.  All are in very good condition, except I think the short arm mirror arms, where they mount to the metric adapters at the bottom have some thread damage.

I will be happy to mail you the two flat glass mirrors (that you prefer), but you will have to get one long arm to match your other side.

When you say your mirror is gone, does that include the metric adapter required to mount these (made for Harley Davidson) mirrors on a Valkyrie.  I can give you a set of those adapters too.

I understood you were in Oslo when I made the offer.  Assuming the shipping of a small box isn't $100, I'll throw in shipping too.  I'll write used motorcycle parts (or whatever you want me to write) on the box to help with any VAT or other taxes on your end.  Or if you want, you can send me shipping cost (read off the box when it arrives), but I do not do Paypal or any of that foolishness.

If you want to order new, I think you have it right, one long arm, and one large magnum mirror with flat glass..... but I'm pretty sure these required the metric adapters at the bottom to mount to the OE Valk mirror mount points.

PS:  IF you got these mirrors to stay put (and not swing loose hitting hard bumps) where you set them up, you are a better man than I am.   Wink

If you want my parts, send me a personal message on this board with details (address, etc)

I have a question about the control levers in the picture.  They look like Harley shaped levers, which I think are more comfortable than the stock Honda mirrors.  Who makes the ones on your bike?

Goldwing 1800 levers.
You have to grind off a small tab on one of them to make them fit,  but that only takes a few minutes.
They are adjustable, comfortable and look better than the originals Wink
Do a search on adjustable levers on this site and you'll find more about it Smiley
