Looks pretty nice! Must be amazing at night.
:-)

I wonder if you have pictures about the installing process?

The I/S is one of the few bikes that I feel confident in riding at night with the stock headlights (I use 55/60W bulbs and have the Honda fog lights).

I can't say the same about the vstrom and the st1300.

Very interested in how you did it, I've been thinking of looking into it but didn't want my ride apart for the riding season.

I will try to post pics to convert the lights. I have all the pics from step one to final assembly.
A quick run down of the steps, and by no means the instructions.  Its a bit complicated to fabricate the brackets that hold the Road Glide head light assembly. It took me a couple of weeks of trial and error and many prototypes made out of Cardboard and crazy glue to stiffen it up. The final brackets are aluminium. You have to separate the lens from the interstate assembly. Remove the reflectors. You will have to trim some of the fins on the back side of the H/D lights, to get the brackets to sit flush and level. Install the old hardware from the I/S reflectors to the new brackets and fasten down using lock nuts. After all pre installation is done, then you will remove the clear lens from the H/D lights to keep any fingerprints or smudges to a minimum. Reinstall the lens to the I/S light assembly.
These are not the instructions but some of the steps I went thru to make them fit and be adjustable too.
I would suggest purchasing a spare I/S light assembly so you can take your time and unwind any frustrations you will develop.

WOW !  Great pics

That just may be enough that even I could probably see at night

How many feet ahead do low and high do the job?

Since this post I went searching on eBay for day maker leds and found quite a few. I have a 97 valk tourer. There is a guy who makes the bracket and sells it for fifty bucks. I thought that was a little high but after hearing how much trail and error you went through I don't mind paying the fifty bucks. If anyone wants his info I can research it again and post it. Looks amazing on your bike. I will be getting mine switched over in the next month or so. Thanks for posting pics.

This is a light I know has been installed in a Valkyrie using Josh's bracket adapter.

Hey Steel Cowboy,
Could you post the pics on how you did it?
Would be great to see what is all needed before other people on the forum go where only you have been before.

Thanks a lot, this is really awesome!
