Angry Put a pig tail on my battery to keep her charged up and when I plug it in, my charger goes red and won't charge. Tried 3 different chargers with the same results. Any ideas??

Probe the plug make sure your connection is good. Make sure to check the plug for any kinks or loose connections. If that all looks good, post pictures of your set up, and let the arm chair mechanics troubleshoot.

Are you talking about the "Deltran" brand Battery Tender? If so, you might not be giving it enough time. Mine works like this: Hook up to pigtail, then plug into outlet. The light will glow RED while it is charging to 80% capacity. After reaching 80%, the light will change to a flashing GREEN light until the battery is fully charged. At that point it goes into FLOAT MODE and the light glows a steady GREEN.
That RED light time will vary depending upon the level of the battery at the time you plug it in.

Dan, how long are you charging before checking for the green light? All my chargers (3) on (3) bikes always start out red and eventually turn green. Do you have another dead or weak battery? You probably know that a trickle charger probably will not fully charge a battery that is extremely weak or sulfated.

Video your setup, and the error so we see what you're seeing. Otherwise it's a guessing game.
