...thanks to fellow BC member Steve from Kelowna, who fabricated and custom fitted this lightweight aluminum boot for my kickstand foot. No more piece of 2x10 in the garage or worrying about parking on unlevel surfaces when out on a ride cooldude

Just make sure it's not high enough to tip the bike the other way with a completely flat tire (where it is parked).  Or have enough space so it can fall to the guards without hitting anything (like a car).  

One of my bikes came with a nice handmade duck-foot fabbed to the stand with straps and bolts.  It made the bike sit higher, but not that much higher, but it was great in gravel or dirt or on hot asphalt.  Sadly I did not periodically tighten things up, and one day it disappeared forever.

Takes it up just over an inch Jess, which is perfect. Installed some stiffer shocks recently and the amount of lean increased a bit...this compensates perfectly. Angle in different scenarios as you mentioned was considered, and design took these scenarios into consideration cooldude
