Hey Rick! Nice seeing you and your friend, too. Bernie and I parked at the Weir about 9 this morning and spent the day walking around, shopping, eating and listening to music. It was a great day, but too freakin' hot!
As we were leaving, there was a nice couple next to us on an Ultra Classic, I think; probably mid to late 60s. We asked where they were from. Their reply, British Columbia! What! We asked if they trailered the bike. Nope. They rode it all the way, towed a trailer and camped every night. Not a single night stay in a hotel. Now that wife's a trooper!
We wished them well and were on our way by about 3:30. Had a fun day! Back to work tomorrow.
