If anyone wants to meet at the Speedway(The House)I will be there around 10ish until 10:45 then ride up to Floral City for lunch at the Shamrock Inn. I know it's late notice but with all the rain it's hard to get a ride in tickedoff right now there's a 20% for tomorrow but we know how fast that can change Angry coolsmiley

Will be at an Antique Outboard meet at Trimble Park, just outside Mt. Dora.
Would go otherwise.

rots of luck with the antique meet, we went today, only ones to show up, took a nice long ride on the lakes. Went to O'Keefe's Irish Pub  and had lunch, then a round about trip back to Trimble Park. Loaded the boat up and went home. Never seen any of the members there. As we left the rain storms hit. Me thinks the members are afraid of rain  Undecided

Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you’re in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

Grumpy, The lake run to lunch was today, the meet is tomorrow. We had a good turn out.
We left from the ramp in Mt. Dora at 10am and rode all the way over to Crazy Gator in Eustis. Ate lunch and waited for the rain to stop while at the restaurant then ran back to the ramp.
Will be at Trimble park tomorrow.

Glad you had a good ride. The Harley is in the shop for new sneakers. Front tire is slap wore out, and I am going wider/taller on both ends. After I have ridden the Valkyrie to see whether or not I like Double Dark, I may do that with the Harley next time. Rear tire went from 180/65 B 16 Michelin Commander, to a
200/60 R 16 Metzler. The new front tire is also Metzler, and I believe it is a 140/80 R 17. I should have it back in time to ride next weekend.

Don I'm glad you posted something you been quiet and I was getting concerned was going to contact you to see what's up. Thought maybe you were regretting not going to Colorado. Just put a Avon Cobra on the back of mine and service the rear end was going to go dark side but not ready yet did the cage mod so next time I'm going dark when you get the Harley ready let me know coolsmiley

Steve, While I am not regretting missing the Colorado trip, I still wish I had been able to go. One day, I will make that trip. My work routine has changed a little, and between that and the weather, (and the completely worn out front tire) I haven't been riding much. I only do Flatbed work one day a week now, if that. I got into a Dedicated run with dry vans and some of the days are pretty long, although not as physically taxing. The loads come out of Port Manatee in Palmetto, and go to Georgia Pacific in Palatka, where it is a drop-and-hook deal. My best days are when I can leave at 0-dark-30 headed North with a loaded trailer, drop and hook in Palatka, and be back in Palmetto in time to load and leave before noon. Then I can be home by 3:00 PM, and have a couple of hours to relax. Hopefully the Harley will be ready for pick-up next Friday, and I will be riding on Saturday.
