I'm trying to find out just what I have to do to the Kuryakyn # 7705  Intake runner Spark plug cover  for it to FIT  my Interstate.. How much and where I may have to cut off for it to fit ?

 Any information would help.
           Thanks,
             W.G.

I don't know Guys,  I had to CUT the left Spot light clamp on the Left side so far for the Valance to fit so far.   Do the ENDS of the spark plug boots come up through the tops of the Valance holes?

I didn't modify anything. They fit without cutting. The only thing you have to watch is re-installing your pods, you will have to push the bottoms a bit to get them to seat properly.

I have had my pods off about 5 times since putting on the spark plug covers and they always go back on with just a bit more attention then normal.

I also put those on my I/S about a year ago.  They mounted with no problem.

I don't have the spot lights so I didn't have an issue with my IS and the full length valances. The ends of my spark plug caps just sort of jam into the holes in the valances rather than through them.
