Tilting Motor Works Snohomish WA www.tiltingmotorworks.com
Dealer: Nashua NH www.rocketmoto.com
While up at Laconia this week i called Adam & Jeanette from rocket Moto to inquire about tilting mot works which they are a dealer for. They spent a week at Americade with Bob the inventor from Washinton to show of their machines. No Demo rides given. So after expressing my interest Jeanette said come on down and try it. Yee Hah! I had to wait around a bit but got to see the personnel and attentive service they offer. They also sell Motus cycle which is a V4 made in Alabama ( about 124 HP) also an electric bike from Italy which will blow the Zero Motorcycles off the Road.
On to the test ride , The Tilster was grafted on to a Harley Davidson Road King. Adam had me drive it around the building a couple of times to get used to it then off we went. About a 30 min. ride around New Hampshires great back roads with the Hammer down. This set up is so good it tends to over steer unlike a conventional motorcycle which will under-steer when you go into a corner to Hot. The brakes are outstanding because they are outboard and it has two on the front. The safety and confidence factor has to be experienced. Compared to other three wheel configurations , this one is the best, the safest the most fun. If a Trike is in your future due to physical restraints or age check this out or if you want to experience something new and different to the market try Tilting Moto Works.

I think they are really cool (Motus' too  cooldude ) ... they can convert a Goldwing, I
heard they cannot do a 1800 Valkyrie though... too bad...

Here's a Jay Leno episode about them:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3TumQ-ueMU

-Mike "the Motus with red heads makes about 160 or more hp!"

Also Adam was excited to see my Valkyrie. First one he saw in person. I told him the keys are in it, go beat the hell out of it. He had to pass to busy at the shop.

They can NOT convert the F6C - they are not willing to spend the $$$ to engineer for so few bikes. I know I tried. If you really want a good comparison on three wheelers Motorcycle Consumer News did a great article in their June 2017 magazine.

Being some what disabled myself I recently bought a Spyder, I use my bike on daily errands. Nerve damage in my neck causes weakness in hands, feet, arms, legs and a little out of balance. I can ride a 2 wheeler with confidence up and down city streets and in the fast lane on the freeways. Slow speeds in parking lots is where I have trouble. The Spyder is great for that but not much fun at high speed, you have to constantly steer and drive the Spyder rather than riding a 2 wheeler where you become part of the bike.

The TMW with the locking front end at low speeds would be great for persons with disabilities if you can ride around a parking lot and traffic jams up to 10-15 MPH with the suspension remaining locked. The standard model is an expensive novelty than will do little for increasing confidence in a disabled or aging person, IMHO of course.

Presently TMW still does not have the tilt lock available for install.
to make your spyder ride like it's on rails put a Bajaron? anti sway bar on it - mine tracks like a razor straight.

Also, make sure that you get your Spyder laser aligned with the Rolo system by someone who knows what they are doing.  It made all the difference on my wife's Spyders.  She has had 3 of them now and everyone was laser aligned.  Two of them by the makers of the Rolo system at Spyderquest.

I guess I should do the alignment first. I have a dealer 25 miles away that sucks, and one 70 miles away that I have no experience with. I should make an appointment and wait while its done.
