Haven't posted in awhile because I have been RIDING! cooldude

9500 mi. and this thing just keeps getting better...  Use to tick somewhat at startup, but that is all but gone now...motor seems to be wearing in very nicely...  Nice ride today to New Glarus Wi...just me and the old lady...  This bike is awfully fast even with a passenger..and the ethanol free gas you can get north of the cheddar curtain.  Almost ready for a new rear tire...this beast chews em' up!  Seriously though, man I love this bike...  I can pass anything on the road, and I love how I can snap lanes...to quickly get around vehicles...the suspension, broken in good..smooth, baby smooth!  I just love how my bikes sticks out in the sea of V-twins everywhere...  The way it sounds...the pipes break in and get louder....be patient...  The bike is real attention getter...especially if you keep it polished up good  (like Bob)..

I just cannot believe Honda did not sell allot of these...

Adrian I'm with you on both counts.

Riding season is here, we got all winter to be pecking at the keyboard.
I think Honda Marketing failed. It's so much more than just a power cruzer.

Thanks for checking in with your update.  cooldude

Honda has a bunch of great bikes that don't sell well. It must be hard for MC manufacturers to get there message out. They should try what ever HD pumps through their ventilation system in the showroom.

Glad you got some air time, I have been wondering where you were. I agree with the dont understand them selling alot. Every review these bikes got was good also.

I just broke the 20k mark almost to 21 on mine and its just as smooth as you could want. Did I say I love my bike.  cooldude Grin Been thinking of doing something with the cat but that is no emergency, but a little sense of urgency.

I know, it's uncanny how smooth they are... the quality power delivery and the accuracy of the steering... I love how many people are just wowed by it.. (I keep mine really clean like you)..the way it sounds...They do get louder as the pipes break in...  I love the sound...the throttle roll ons and 55mph+ in 5th gear...especially 60 on up...  It is so cool to pull away from just about thing with ease....  Pulling into town...tourist type thing with lotz of HDs everywhere..my bike just sticks out big time... many don't know what to think, but most respect it's size...  HDs on the road, most of the anyway, rarely try catching me...  they pull up behind me at a stop sign/light...staring at the ass end...and don't even try...  A few in front of me..try...but I SMOKE em'...not even close...lol  I keep my bike as light as possible...even love it when the fuel tank is near empty...on a cool day she just HAULS ASS!!  LOVE MY BIKE!!

Adrian i agree also. This is an outstanding motorcycle. Sure to be a cult bike some time in the future. Rode back from Laconia last Thursday to home in Hamburg NY. Traffic ? What traffic?
A short burst of power and the cars and trucks are all gone. This motorcycle does everything very well, go, stop , handling is incredible. I think they did not sell well due to the fact Mother Honda overpriced them for a naked bike. At $ 17,999 to rich for young blood, not enough options for experienced riders. Fortunately i got mine at a substantial discount so no complaints.

Word of mouth and fantastic deals are doing a much better job than the marketing department!
