The night before, Jeff and I stayed in Portland at a Holiday Inn on the shady side of town.
Did we ever suck down some beer & spark-up some 'erb until the place closed.
Was a blast hammering down the superslab to arrive on time.

Looks like TC is velcroing his ear back on  crazy2

Thanks again to all that participated.
Jake has enlisted in the Air National Guard and will be going to UNH whenever he finishes basic & training.

He tried to enlist in the Coast Guard but they wouldn't take him because of some of the drugs he was on during his chemo treatment.  It didn't matter that it has been over 10 years since his treatment finished.  It's the CG's loss because he is one nice young man and would have been a real benefit to the Coast Guard  Undecided

Been there Dan.  The CG would not take Steve because when he was 10, playing football with the neighbors with no equipment, he got knocked into the chest and did not tell anyone.  The doctor had no clue and put him on an asthma medicine for a couple of weeks.  So the CG said he had asthma even though we paid for a test that proved he did not.  In fact the chief medical officer of the CG said he would give a waiver but the local CG station has jurisdiction.   Randy's son even went to bat for Steve to no avail.  Their loss Wink

Jake will due fine whatever he does and the Air National Guard sounds like a good thing!

Great news hearing the strides Jake has made as a child growing into a young man....
Glad to have been part of that ride Dan.
