I have one, use it mostly for running rear wheel up on it to help lift bike on center stand, my 83 silverwing 650 has a poorly designed CS, helps alot. Have also used for front tire cleaning on various bikes. Well worth the $$ to have around, don't take up much space...well built.

I figure better than rolling bike around to get valve stems right to check pressure. I have the tire pressure monitoring system with the display mounted on the bars. Don't know if I loose some pressure with them but need to adjust pressure every 4 or 5 weeks. Getting the stems in right place annoying. Thanks.

Got one too. Thats why I like cataloges vs going threw on line web pages. They are Ok if you know what you want. In this case I was walking through the Harbor Freight store. (We have 2 in Ft Myers) The original store here in Ft myers is on the south side a ways for me to drive. but unfortunately they opened a new one, sort of a super store in North Ft Myers, Bad luck for me, now to convenient. I talked to the mgr one day at the South store and he told me they were the largest volumn store in the US at that time. And a small store at that. I walk down every isle and some times see something that lites up the bulb and there it is, just what I was looking for.

HF has a front wheel chock for $59ish. It looks almost as good as my $200 chock that came with my Razor trailer. First time I moved a bike on it with the chock I couldn't believe how solid it kept the bike, no worries now when I tow a bike to AZ now for the winter. If you ever tow or don't want a center stand for oil checks and cleaning, check out the HF $59 front wheel chock.

Hmmm. I picked up one of the HF wheel chocks (the "$59ish" one). On a trailer or bolted to the floor it might rate higher than a "C." If it is used on concrete it will scoot across the floor when you try to ride the bike into place. I ended up taking the pivoting "ramp" off and just position my front wheel against the forward stop. I then attach tie downs to the eyelets on the stand and to my handlebars. Regarding use with our Valkyries - be careful! Tie downs will want to rub against the forward end of the radiator cowls. I don't have the stock headlight and plastics on my bike now - I don't know how tie downs might work with those bits in place. I give this Harbor Freight "chock" a sold "C" when used with an F6C. It will work, but it needs to be changed a bit and, even then, is not a great design for use with these scooters. It may go back to the store. Bill

The one that came with my trailer is a Condor, about $250. I remember removing it from the trailer to test it before I use it on a 2000 mile trailer ride. It did the same thing as your el cheapo one did, runs away when trying to ride into it. I remember putting a 4' 2x4 against the unit flat on the floor and the other end touching the wall. Didn't move after that. I have a center stand so I only use it on the trailer.

I think on your trailer it is the perfect design. In the garage, not so much. The HF unit is going back to the store. I'll get a center stand and the "million dollar" left side exhaust protector (Honda part number 18417-MCA-A20). Lesson learned. Bill

There are tons of CS's on fleebay, look for one with most of the mounting hardware, I think I paid $40. Had to buy 1 screw and a spacer $8. I found a cheap heat shield fleebay also. Was scrufty looking in the pic but for $20 I gave it a try, it cleaned up fairly well, few scratches but not noticeable unless I pointed it out. Also check out a trike shop, they may trade for your non dimple shield for a dimple. With all your patience and skills, you can make a mold and pound the dimple in or cut a slot in it. I don't think a cut out would look that bad.

My biggest problem right now is time. I have completely used up all of my free time and have almost used up the majority of my sleeping time. Judy insists I have to cut back somewhere. Oops! Sorry about hijacking the thread. Now back to your regularly-scheduled HF discussion. Bill

I was going to say WTH, before Bill finally put this thread back on track. The thread started with a "wheel cleaning stand," and quickly became everything but. Tallrider, the wheel cleaning stand is a good thing! Thank you!
