Looks really nice. Great Idea, would like to know the modifications required to get the mounting correct, are they in the same place as the stock turns?

On the interstate the turn signal mounts to the frame that supports the faring, they also hold the bottom of the faring in place. There is an offset washer that sits between the turn signal and the fairing, that offset washer will line up with the brackets on the inside of the fairing and hold it all together. There is no space between the bracket and the washer. I drilled the hole wider with a step bit to allow the Allen head bolt from the H/D fixture to pass thru and no play results. The Allen bolt is about 1.5 inches long so you can get easyer access to get the star washer and nut on. I used another star washer between the standoff and the offset washer. The star washers I used are S/S. No lock tight used so I can adjust it down if it should loosen up. I used 10/24 (Allen bolts) fine machine thread bolts to secure the standoff to the turn signal. I used a 1/8 Allen key that I cut down and bent to get in between the fairing and standoff. The lights are pretty straight forward, they plug in like an 1157 bulb into the socket in the housing. 3 wires coming out the H/D housing a ground, one turn signal and one parking light. I used round male crimp connectors to plug into the factory wires. You will have to drill a small inconspicuous hole behind the fixture and I used a rubber grommet to make the hole a little neater, you can see it in the picture. The beauty of the lights are that the driving light will turn off when you apply the turn signal and come back on when you cancel the turn signal on there own. That's it. The day maker install is too complicated to write up but I do have pictures.

Very nice installation. I already have the light buckets like those but the bulbs are halogen. I've been tossing around the idea of going LED for those since everything else is LED except the headlight. Do those lamps have a built in turn signal? That's what I'd like to have....like yours where the driving light goes out when the turn is on. I assume they fit in a standard 4 1/2" light bucket?

John the light is about 3.5 inches wide. They are made to fit in a pancake style H/D assembly, with the 2 holes that secure the lens in, also holding the LED module. I guess you could make it fit in a bigger housing. The module has an 1157 male bulb connector so it goes on to the 1157 socket in the fixture. The LED module has a built in switch which will shut off the driving light LED when you apply the turn signal and turn the driving light back on when you cancel the turn signal. They don't have a built in flasher, I had to purchase an LED flasher. On Amazon they are $9.99 on eBay $3-$4 "plug and play". I did it all for about $100, and got lucky on the H/D assembly purchase. I have an extra H/D style pancake assembly if anybody cares to look at it. FYI the swap meet is this Sunday coming up. Last month I purchased the rear Kuryakyn turn signal LED inserts for the back of the bike for $10 on the pair. There was a set of LED front driving/turn signal assembly's there but way too expensive,That gave me the idea for the front.

Nice job Eddie I think the Steel Cowboy has a new AKA (WTF)hope I don't experience you coming towards me, day or night. I don't have a welders shield attached to my helmet yet I rate this one a 10 but rating will be even higher when you install on my bike
