I finally got around to a little basic maintenance. I took the left cyclinder head side cover off to drain the Crankcase breather. Boy, what a pain in the Arce. I really should get a proper cycle lift so I don't have to lay on the garage Floor! It would have so much easier if the bike was 3 or 4 feet off the ground. At any rate, the breather tube was bone dry. In the past on other bikes, I usually find a couple drops of moisture, not on the Valk. Is this Normal? The hardest part of the whole project was getting those tiny rubber plugs back into the bolt heads. One of them flew off somewhere in the garage, I will have to buy a couple spares.

I thought the tube hanging down under the bike (rt side) with the plug and spring clamp on it was the crankcase breather drain.  At least on the 1500.

Also called the drool tube.
