Out with the old...in with the wooohoooo!!!!

I went out to the garage to change the pads on the left side and I noticed rust on both rotors.  Has Honda gone super cheap with the metal???  My 1999 Interstate never had rust on the rotors and it sat outside for the first 3 years.

I did run it a lot last weekend and I have not drove it since Monday, but that shouldn't make a difference.

Has anyone else noticed rust on their rotors?

Haven't seen rust, Brian.  But my scooter isn't broken in, yet.

No rust.
Can't remember the last time I saw rust on rotors.

Does your bike sit outside?

My bike sits covered inside 24/7, unless I'm on a trip...

Stock Honda OEM brake pads?

I have never seen rust on motorcycle rotors before, cars yes motorcycles no. Have you used some kind of cleaner on the wheels?

I saw rust on mine once when it had been in the rain, and then not ridden for two weeks or so. Just simple oxidation. cooldude
