Looking at the lift adapters for my 99 Valkyrie. On ebay, there is one called Pro Lift, but I can't tell a lot about it from the picture. They say it fits between the frame cross member and the side stand bracket, attached by the two bolts that attach the side stand. Do any of you have this adapter? Is what I see in the picture on ebay all that there is to this adapter? Does it not extend forward to support the engine? With only two mounting points, how secure (steady) is this adapter fore and aft? I appreciate any and all input. Thanks.

I've installed a couple of these on other valks. They work well. The front lift rail rides on the engine crankcase. Some aftermarket pipes hang lower than the crankcase, so I use a 1"x8" wood shim to lift the case higher.

I've had mine installed for about 3 years, I love it. . . no issues. While on the lift you'll notice it may rock a tad if you place weight on one end or the other, but it ain't coming off, trust me. For safety sake, do not forget to use straps.

Agree with the others. I've had mine for a year and it works well. The bike does rock fore and aft if you push, but I use jack stands under the front crash bar...problem solved.

Get the lift adapter from MarkT. He's advertised at the top of the boards in rotating ads.

I bought mine back in '08 when I got my Valk. Before MartT started making his. I also use the jack stands under the the crash bars (I have never tied her down).. she is rock steady with the jack stands. You'll need help holding the bike up to put it on. OR at least I did.

I agree with Willow. Support the vendors who help to keep the lights on. I have one of MarkT's and it works great.

I agree with Willow--MarkT's is the one to have, although I have the other one. BTW, Pro Lift is the name of the jack, not the adapter. Doesn't really matter, though. To install, loosen the bolts that hold the kick stand and the adapter slips under. Need to have someone hold the the bike steady while you work, or find a way to take the weight off the kick stand.

2 versions, they look like this. The one with smaller box tube extensions is to fit with belly tank. No, the asymmetry of the small tubes is not an error - the belly tank is asymmetrical to match. The other, for bikes w/o BT. The 3/4" box tubing is extra thickwall for strength - 0.120". Endcaps glued in. Available laquor or powder coat finish. Not in the way of the oil drain. Right size so you won't lift on the exhaust and bend it. Sears lift rolls underneath w/o needing to roll the bike on a board first (with std shocks and OEM or Austone or 205/60 darksides - haven't tried the lower tires like the 55's yet). Current version 2.1 has shims welded on top to match the profile of the engine casing (which you can add yourself if you have v2.0). Attachment L-bolts are now hot-forged instead of welded. Lightweight, intended to be installed permanently then it's there when you need it on a road trip. Cost is $59 for paint finish, add $8 for powder, $14 for P&S priority mail, for belly or non-belly. Paypal or call-in CC#. Other methods if needed. Scammers, don't bother to waste your time or mine - never been fooled by any of you jokers. Std one looks like this (on my blown bobber George). Click on the rotating banner above or this: http://horseapple.com Call in on the phone at the footer on every page. Or email at the link, same place. Thx.

I also have one of MarkT, simple to install and works great. When sliding my jack under I always pay close attention to it's location and the side stand to make sure there is no interference.

Heres the link your looking for. 100's sold and 100 percent feedback. So evidently i'm not the only one satisfied. Definitely has saved me bucks many times over. I like the idea of it being there for when I might need it. And is tucked up as hidden not hanging down as other brands . Hope that helps. Mine is on my I/S so will work with the heaviest beast. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-BEST-ITEM-HONDA-VALKYRIE-MOUNTED-JACK-ADAPTER-PROVEN-AS-MUST-NEEDED-ITEM-/170918265075?hash=item27cb85c0f3:g:UugAAOSwMmBVsB~W&vxp=mtr

What does this lift do exactly, like whats the difference between lifting the bike with the adapter and without the adapter?

ok you can see on that link description and the details. As says Makes the bike sturdy, safe, secure, and steady when lifted. Also allows you to jack the Valk up without the jack arms being on the exhaust pipes. Etc. Like said I use that one and it works great. Remove wheels, ad acc., and great for having raised for cleaning while sitting in a chair. along with cleaning the wheels. It has paid for itself with my use. And the price was great. Will be there if you get broke down on the road. many have said would have been nice if Honda had installed this from the get go.
