I have a Fulmer M1 I have used for years and like the modular design. I am considering buying either a Schuberth C3 Pro or Shoei Neotec. Can I get any feed back by those who have experience with them.

Thanks

Of course, it's impossible to decide if this one will suit you better than this other one and you'll have to try both of these.  Grin

I have both. I liked the Schuberth C3 Pro  because it is far better than the C3 and I like my color (orange, almost fluo). I wanted to change because the rain was dripping inside the screen and I bought the Neotec. On both helmets I had to fix this rain problem  Embarrassed but the fact is that I wear the Shoei most of the time because it is safer, following what sharp says :

https://sharp.dft.gov.uk

The Shoei has four stars (maximum is five), the C3 Pro only 3

In the summer time, the ventilation in the Shoei is better I think. Yes, the C3 Pro is silent but the Shoei is not far and anyway, I use Bose C20i headphones  2funny

Thank you ledany I appreciate the info. Great web site! I need a XXXL helmet and it looks like the Shoei isn't made in that size.

I worked with a guy that needed a helmet that big.  We just painted a Shoei box and put a strap on that.  Actually he had to squeeze that melon into the largest one they had and he looked like a kid holding his breath.

My head is so filled with brain I need a 3X helmet as well. Last time I tried on  the largest Schuberth it wouldn't fit. I do have a 3X Shoei RF1000 that fits great. I also have a Nolan N40 in 2X that fits fine.

So, if your head is so full of brain matter that you need a 3X you ought to make sure you can try on the Schuberth before ordering on line.

I have the Shoei Multitec helmet and I love it.  I tried on a Schuberth and it wouldn't fit the shape of my head.  It was too uncomfortable.  In a couple of years I will get myself a Neotec after this one has done it lifetime.

Thanks for all the replies. I have tried on both helmets and a XXL is the correct size for my head. The Shoei does not fit my head shape as well as the Shuberth and caused pain on the front top of my head. The C3 Pro fit well and is very comfortable. So I have been online shopping for the best price and found a great deal. A new in the box XXL matt black shipped to my door no tax for $429.
Great deal but it is not DOT certified. So I'm still searching I may should wait and try on a C4.

I was going to suggest waiting for the C4, I had a Schuberth back when they first came in under that name, broadening the brand from the BMW...it was call the Concept I believe..wore ot for WAY too long and started looking to replace it with a C3 Pro but then I read about the E1 Dual sport helmet, basically it is a C3 Pro with more ventilation and better wicking properties. We ended up with matching E1 Hunter Yellow, and then after my accident I found out that graphics was discontinued...but I was able to find one...I run with the peak removed and we have installed the Sena 10U for the Schubert

I absolutely love my C3Pro.  Most I've ever spent on a helmet, but the quiet and comfort are worth it.
