I would like to thank all who responded to my post yesterday. I did check everything that was talked about to no avail. I did however find the problem and got it fixed. In the wire loom from the kill switch and starter button there was a broke wire that would make contact at times and then other times it would not. It is the black wire with a white stripe, it supplies power to the starter switch and kill switch. When the wire opened up of course all was dead including the starter. It does not affect any of the other circuits on the bike therefore that is why everything else was work. I am glad to have Valerie back on the road. Looking forward to the next 100,000 miles.
