Kury sells an adapter for Valks. Contact them directly for the right one.

Here you go.  http://www.kuryakyn.com/products/1597/tapered-peg-adapters

For Valk front application:  Kuryakyn Front ISO Footpeg Adapters - Part No 7946

The adapters for front and rear Valkyrie application are different part numbers.

https://www.denniskirk.com/kuryakyn/iso-peg-adapters-7946.p493218.prd/493218.sku

https://www.amazon.com/Kuryakyn-7946-Front-Peg-Adapter/dp/B003O6XCF2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1499529963&sr=8-1&keywords=kuryakyn+7946

EDIT:  Kuryakyn 4450s are MALE MOUNT ISO Wings which will not work on Valk at the drivers position.  At that position, you have to buy ISO Wings without ends, and the adapters (above).  Male mounts will only work at the Highway peg position, with the proper arms and/or clamps bolted to the engine guards.

ISO Wings without ends (plus adapter at driver position).

Male mount ISO Wings (for highway pegs only).

Aren't the male mounts removable? There should be a long allen bolt running through the peg. Remove it

Don't you have a bike you can look at for the spring mount?

I'm fairly sure that the spring presses the peg down, so when taking a hard corner, the peg is being pressed onto the pavement. This will allow it to flex up, and not fit with your foot when you try to place it on the peg, by lifting up.

Yes HarryC  they are,   yea  Smiley.  just need  the7946 adaptors, thanks for your offer, but I'm in Canada and shipping costs would probably be more than the item.  I can get them from fortnine for 80.00 CDN shipped to my address.........Great bunch of guys in this Valkyrie group.   Smiley

Kuryakyn is the king of interchangeability of parts.  But many (most) male mount Harley parts are cast as a single unit.

Sixpack, you should add your location into your profile.

For me, it's a 30 min ride across the border. I get items sent to a mail house just on the other side.

well I live in N.B. about 1.5 hours from Calais Maine, and I have had items sent there, usually we would make a day out of it with friends and food... but with the dollar difference ... sometimes  less expensive here.  Wink

Yah, you really need to know your prices before buying things from the US. Then add the cost of the travel, time, etc.. sometimes it just isn't worth it. But I just got a used Auston tire for $50, well worth the shipping and effort to get it.

well, I installed the 4450, with the 7946 adaptors and find the pegs too high, so I reversed the adaptors and it seems better but now the springs have no pressure and the pegs just "flop" loosely....any suggestions..      ???  plus I added a "blackbird" shift lever...

Should be the same height as the OEM Valk pegs..I don't get it. Do you need a peg lowering kit?

maybe a lowering kit would help... a few years ago I had a 98 Tourer with floorboards and rattlebar shifter and lowering kit,  and I don't remember having this "too high" problem, other than scraping the pegs easily Smiley . the bloody things are expensive  $$$

MarkT sells some for a good price. They are powder coated on the left side though, no chrome.

Couldn't you place the springs back in in reverse so they are now installed wrong and applying pressure in the direction you want it to?

what is the correct orientation for the pegs?? I have the chrome end to the front and I find my shifting foot catches the rubber and is lifting them, anyone else have this problem.  Sad  I starting to think that the OEM's might go back on, very disappointed...  Undecided

Can you post a pic? As you are looking at the top of the peg, the chrome showing in one corner goes toward the rear of the bike.

I was thinking of different pegs. For the ISO wings the chrome end goes towards the front of the bike.

well I went and reversed the 4450's and removed the blackbird shifter and reused the OEM shifter...
much more tolerable now, I will give this set up a try,  if it doesn't work for me, I will use OEM pegs with blackbird shifter and give that a try.... or maybe explore floorboards..... Undecided
