Anybody mount Skene Photon Blasters on their Tourer? If so, where and how? The Skene website doesn't list brackets for any Valk.

I'm thinking I might like to mount them on the vertical sandwich brackets of the windshield, which gets them up higher than where they usually go.

As for the back P3 lights, I'm thinking of putting them on the backrest bracket instead the license plate frame as is typical. Thoughts?

Thanks,
Jeff

I realize after looking at close-ups of the lights that mounting them to the windshield brackets won't work.

I've never seen these before.  The first thing I would do is give them a call and ask.  The mounting system looks pretty simple, and on a Valkyrie I would probably use the fender bolts to mount them.  They have a kit for a VTX1300 that might work if the fender mounting bolts are the same size.  Look up the mounting bolts for the Valk and for the VTX1300, and see if they are the same thread size and length.  If they are, I would take my chances and order that kit.  If not, see what other bikes use the same bolt as the Valkyrie, then find photos of that bike's fender and see how similar it's mounting is to the Valk's.  Pay special attention to how deep the bolt's head appears to be in it's hole, as this will determine the bolt and spacer length of the mounting kit's bolt.

That was a great idea to check the VTX. But not the same bolt. Valk: 6x32  VTX: 8x40.

I have reached out to them both with email and leaving a phone message. Business must be good. Haven't heard back yet.

I'll search around the brackets they have and find one that uses a 6 mm bolt.
