The NY times just let go of 100 more employees this week, They now think that news should not be funded by private funds but by other organizations. I wonder who that would be.  Evil.

Did you see their poll?

Chicago Sun/Times poll

Question:  Do you approve of the job President Obama has done so far?
 With over 20,000 votes cast

Yes-6%  1355 votes

No- 93%  18946 votes

Ouch, that's gotta hurt.

Well, there was a time that the Sun-Times could be considered a liberal newspaper but after Rupert Murdoc bought it I'm not really sure what form of journalism it would represent .... or if it would even be considered journalism. coolsmiley

You are correct that it once belonged to Murdock, however to my knowledge it is now owned by Hollinger International and its editorials are now positioned to the left of center.
