Author Topic: Frustrated Trying to lube the throttle cables- Help  (Read 797 times)

Trying to lube the throttle cables and cannot get them out of the throttle.
I have loosen the handle bars and moved them to the left, still no slack to get them out of the throttle.
Any help and suggestion would be great.

  Sometimes you have to undo it at the carb to get enough slack to get it off the throttle tube without breaking the tube. I usually just remove the top half of the housing and drip oil into where the cables come in and rotate the throttle.

Move the handlebars more, that procedure works.
