I am doing my spline maint and installing a hitch while I'm at it. What size wrench is needed
for the front bolts on the fender rail? going to have to buy a thin walled as well to get
inside the bag hangars....   14mm won't quite get on it, is it a 15mm thin wall?

     thanks in advance- Mike

Try the open end wrenches that come in the OEM tool kit.

On mine, it's a 17mm.  An 11/16 inch will work but is a little loose.

Use a thin walled socket. If there's no clearance, remove the bag off the bracket. Takes an 8 mm socket inside the bag.

Are we talking about a Tourer or a Standard with aftermarket bags?

If you're installing a hitch, aren't you removing the bags?

standard, these are just the soft bag supports. will try a pic in morning.
will keep bags after hitch install.
