I was thinking of getting my Corbin seat redone to make it more comfortable. Has anyone had experience with Saddleman seats. Would this be a good improvement to have them redo the seat. I want to keep using the Corbin base as I like the built in back rest on the passenger seat.

$ may be a factor, but you could get Russell to redo a solo
seat for around $500 or $600... a Russell redo on a solo seat
pan that has a backrest seems like an awful nice seat for
a Valkyrie  cooldude

I had a Saddleman on an older GS and it was very comfortable for the 40K+ miles I put on that.

Plus because they didn't have an exact model fit for my bike, I had to hand staple the model with the closest fit to my seat pa.  I called the company and the support was VERY helpful ,providing ACTUAL measurements for a few models so I could get the best one.  I mean they were actually running back to the stock room while I was on hold and working with me.

Great folks at Saddleman.

The only two seats I haven't tried on my Valkyries yet are Saddlemen and Russell.

One of these days I may send my surplus OEM I/S and Tourer seats out to Russell and have them build something up. Before that I'll probably look into a Saddlemen as an on-hand option.

Blondie bought Big Boy and King Boy saddles for our Valkyries when she first started riding with me. I still like both but they're in need of re-upholstering...many, many miles upon them have compressed and worn the foam.

Every now and then I'll change the seats on the bikes around; the Tourer is due for its Mustang once again.
