The skies opened up the first week of June and it seems like someone forgot to turn off the tap.

22.8" at the house in June alone.

15.35" in July and another 1.25" today so far. The radar is showing more on the way.

I'm guessing we will probably top out around 40" total from June 1st through tonight. I keep trying to convince myself  that this is seasonal weather. Been down here 40 years in Sept. but the summers are getting tougher to deal with.

Just put a new battery in the Fat Gurl and was able to get a quick half hour ride in between the showers.

It sure felt good  cooldude cooldude

Only about 3 more months of summer to go. Come on cool weather, I'm ready.

I'll be paddling up that way sometime soon I hope.

Jack if you ride too far south the only hills you'll see are ditch banks and fire ant mounds Cheesy

Ah yes, similar problems here. Havn't driven bike for most of the year. Short run to McDonalds 2 1/2 miles or a mile or two up the road once. Havn't put 50 miles on. Wifes condition is poor needs help getting around, Alzyimers issues creaping in. Real downer for me, We are same age, been married at 20, 55 yrs. Real guilt complex if i go off enjoying myself. Would sure enjoy a nice run in cooler weather. Hope I can work something out ,realy enjoyed that run up north we did, keep me in mind, may be able to get away sometime.
