I just finished re jetting the beast.  I am about to start reassembly and need to know if it is necessary to replace the O rings on the intake runners?

Sure wouldn't hurt.  I've been a part of a few 'DeSmogs', and have seen evidence of leaks on a few bikes, including mine.

Rich, at Red Eye sells Viton O Rings, and assorted other neat items.

If ya can't wait for mail order, buy #123 O rings in Viton or silicone from a local hydraulic supply house.
